Sunshine & Summer Nights - Atmosphere x Iration

Sunshine & Summer Nights is the name of this 2022 tour featuring Atmosphere and Iration. Thompson’s Point is a popular venue for dozens of musical acts throughout the summer in Portland, but this will surely be a night to remember with these lyrical geniuses. Opening for Atmosphere and Iration are The Grouch with DJ Fresh and Passafire.

Green Woods

Green Woods

Green Woods is a reggae and community-driven roots and culture festival. Not only is there plenty of fantastic live music, but this festival focuses on celebrating nature and intentional soul healing. Artists like Lutan Fyah, Iba Mahr, Medisun, and Earth Kry share the main stage for three days of reggae and an inspiring musical experience.

Location: Brunswick, Maine

Genre: Reggae

Camping: Yes, but only for guests attending all three days

Ticket Price: $115 for all three days, or $35 per day. VIP tickets are $220.

Cannabis Friendly: You can bring anything you’d like to your campground, but no outside substances to the concert grounds.

Farm Fest

Farm Fest is the ultra kicked-back and relaxed festival you won’t want to miss this summer. Located on a 110-year-old 40-acre homestead, Farm Fest sits on the 45th parallel - the earth's meridian. It’s a gorgeous, wooded area with rolling terrain and incredible sound quality from the main stage. Check out artists like The Bandura Gypsies, The Blue Water Ramblers, Kirby, and Railcar Graffiti.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Hoxeyville music festival. Headliners include Trampled by Turtles, Yonder Mountain String Band, Infamous Stringdusters, and Railroad Earth. The lineup features bluegrass legends for three full days of strings, songs, and sunshine.

Cannabis Friendly: As this is a camp in event, you should be good to bring some goodies. If you forget, they will have a cannabis tent with products available to purchase. There is also a designated smoking area and cannabis is legal in Michigan.

The location couldn’t be more chill and beautiful at Veterans Memorial Park on Martha’s Vineyard. This festival is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy a few days of epic live music.

HOCO Fest

Dubbed as one of the most forward-thinking festivals in the country, HOCO Fest is entirely solar-powered. The lineup is incredibly diverse, featuring three full days of performances at The Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson. In addition to killer live music, attendees can attend the Sonoran Desert Sustainability Summit, kick back poolside, or check out one of several art installations.

FreshGrass is next on your list to close the summer if you haven't had enough bluegrass yet. FreshGrass Festival is at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCa). It’s one of the nation’s largest centers for contemporary visual and performing arts. This three-night fest features Old Crow Medicine Show, Gary Clark Jr., and Trampled by Turtles, among many other incredible new, old, and emerging artists.

Location: North Adams, Massachusetts

Camping: Yes - campgrounds are a half mile from the venue

Cannabis Friendly: Their website contains no specific information about cannabis use, but this is an outdoor festival with camping a half mile away. It’s safe to assume responsible use is acceptable.

Goldrush: Neon Dreams

We know, we know, summer is over by now, but it still feels like summer in Arizona. The Goldrush music festival is held at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale. This year’s theme is everything Neon, and the producers intend to offer a bold, bright event for all attendees. Catch music by Above&Beyond, Wax Motif, and Troyboi, along with dozens of other electronic and hip hop artists.
