Buckle up your tastebuds, Wynk is currently available in three refreshing flavors: Black Cherry Fizz, Juicy Mango, and Lime Twist.
Imagine your favorite fruit-forward seltzer, but take out that alcohol bite. It tastes refreshing, and it feels relaxing.
Wynk was created to be more subtle and faster-acting than an edible. Whereas an edible can take up to two hours to kick in, with Wynk you’ll feel a light, focused buzz balanced with the mellowness of the CBD in about 10-15 minutes. This gives you better control over your high, which will subside faster too, after about 90 minutes.
And remember, there is no alcohol involved which means morning hangovers are a thing of the past.
Goodness, no. Just expect a light, refreshing buzz! THC and CBD impacts everyone differently, so we recommend starting with one can and working your way up to your perfect dosage.
Edibles and drinkables are often made with a distillate of pure THC oil. This THC oil is made from putting cannabis plants through a purification process to remove things like waxes, sugars, and other plant material. This purification process ensures products don’t taste or smell bitter—a common problem with homemade edibles – but it also removes terpenes, the compounds that drive the specific effects from the Indica or Sativa strains.
Now, you may be asking yourself, “How can an edible be classified as Sativa or Indica when it uses oil that doesn’t have terpenes profiles that are specific to Indica or Sativa strains?”
A fine question, indeed.
While some companies may add back synthetic or cannabis-derived terpenes to deliver the characteristics of these strains, there is no research that proves that our bodies are able to absorb terpenes when ingested. And in fact, the effects you feel across any cannabis consumption method, whether you’re eating it, drinking it, or inhaling it, will probably vary, even when products are made from the same strain. So with Wynk, you don’t have to worry about Indica or Sativa knowing that every sip is a celebration of the good stuff, pure THC.
Wynk is all about delivering a balanced high. So while the THC will get you high, the CBD delivers the calm, chill vibes.
But if we may get technical for a moment, THC binds with cannabinoid 1 receptors in the brain to produce a euphoric feeling. By contrast, CBD binds very weakly to CB1 receptors, and doesn’t have the same psychoactive effects as THC, though it is shown to help with anxiety and depression. Okay, class dismissed.
Microdosing just means consuming a very small dosage (in this case, just 2.5mg of THC and 2.5mg of CBD) to feel a little something, without overdoing it. Microdosing puts you in control to work your way up to your perfect level of high.
It’s complicated, but stay with us here.
Making a THC-based seltzer when it’s not legal nationally forced us to reimagine things. To our competition, making product means building a factory in states where cannabis is legal — or finding a local co-manufacturer to do it for them. Then there’s the issue of licensing within each state.
Instead of dealing with all these complications, Wynk decided to flip the script and make product on-site in states where it’s legal using the equipment that lives on the back of our Wynk Wagon 18-wheeler. So instead of making our drinks in a single location and shipping to market, we actually bring the factory to the market.
Wynk sources its THC from each state we manufacture in. So when you’re drinking a Wynk in, say, Ohio, the THC in each can is sourced from Ohio, too. Buzz local!
Everybody’s response to cannabis will be unique. If you’re newer to cannabis, we recommend starting slow with one can of Wynk and letting the buzz set in for about 10-15 minutes before deciding whether you’d like to reach for another.
Wynk is rolling out at dispensaries in states where cannabis is legal. Visit our Store Locator to find a dispensary near you that carries Wynk. And if you have a favorite dispensary that doesn’t carry Wynk yet, be sure to let them know you wish they would!
Sayonara, hangxiety! Because there’s no alcohol in Wynk, you won’t feel hungover in the
morning. No headaches. No regrets. Just a light, social buzz.
You’ll only need a prescription in states where cannabis is legal only for medical use. If it’s legal recreationally, there’s no need to consult a doctor prior to purchasing, unless you’re more comfortable doing so!
Wynk recommends consulting with your doctor before consuming cannabis while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Wynk is currently privately held and we are not seeking investors at this time.
