Southie’s Annual Parade

Each year, huge crowds of green-clad revelers head to South Boston to watch the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This much-loved parade features an eclectic mix of bagpipes, brass marching bands, elaborate floats, dancers, and much more. If you want a spot directly on the traditional 3.5-mile route, you’ll have to plan ahead as things get pretty hectic, pretty quickly. If you prefer to be a little outside of the fray, you can enjoy the sights and sounds from the hills of Medal of Honor Park or watch in the comfort of your home with a can of WYNK on NECN.

If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to land tickets to one of two shows on St. Paddy’s Day itself. If moshpits and crowds aren’t your thing, you can also watch the livestream of their Live From Boston concert at 9 PM on March 17.
